Pelikan Artline Pty Limited was formed from the consolidation of Pelikan Quartet and Geoff Penney in October 1st, 2006. In February 2009, Pelikan Artline acquired Esselte Australia & New Zealand, adding well known brands such as Spirax, Esselte, Kevron, and Columbia to its range. On February 1st 2013, the acquisition of Northfork Chemicals (Australia) Pty Ltd was completed. The new category of Cleaning and Janitorial supplies compliments Pelikan Artline’s existing categories including Artline Writing Instruments, Spirax Notebooks, GBC Binding & Lamination, Quartet Visual Communication and General Stationery.

Pelikan Artline is the exclusive marketer of major brands including Artline, Spirax, GBC, Quartet, Penrite, Columbia, Pelikan, Metro, Maped, Esselte, Kevron, Xstamper, Trodat and Colop and supports these brands with extensive marketing and promotional programs.
Employing over 200 people in any one of 8 locations across Australia and New Zealand, Pelikan Artline's head office is based in Kings Park in Sydney's western suburbs. The head office & warehouse has over 7,000 pallet spaces and includes a state of the art receiving and dispatch dock and well-appointed office facilities that will house over 110 staff. Minto, in Sydney's west, is the second warehouse site, with over 8,500 pallet spaces. Queanbeyan, the home of Northfork Chemicals includes an additional 1,500 pallet spaces and uses Greenpower to manufacture all products including biodegradable surfactants.
